Name:
Steam Name: Fallout 4 Chan. I go by Slayer most of the time.
Steam ID:
STEAM_0:0:70421334
Character(s):
Slade 'Haven' Chonsoklev and 'Green'
How many times have you been banned and for how long?:
I'm been perma banned from some TTT servers when I was like Ten if that counts.
Why would you like to be an administrator? (2 paragraph minimum)
Honestly, I'd really just like to be an admin because it's fun. I truly think that being an admin is just really good for talking to people and dealing with people in general. It's not even a job per-say but really just an activity that you do because you enjoy helping people. Sure there are minges at times but it's actually quite funny. Most of the time, minges are more helpful then they are actually bad because they tell you what to fix, ex: minge spawns a giant prop that they somehow got access to or an abuse in the system that no one spotted. Plus, the best part is just watching them try so hard to mess around and do stupid stuff.
Finally, being and admin is honorable too. It shows that someone higher than you believes that you can do something that not many people can do very well and thinking about that makes you appreciate all the support they give especially when they listen to your ideas. From personal experience the job can be frustrating at times but it's a good feeling when you just look back and realize how many people you actually just helped. Sure it's just a video but it can be more than that when you actually brighten someone's day by giving them the slightest amount of recognition.
What skills do you hold that would make you better then other people applying to be administrator? (2 paragraph minimum)
One of my most prized skills for this job is the ability to think on a grand scale. Most people aren't very good when it comes to making events and I'd like to say that I'm fairly good at it. I have pitched ideas whenever I have one about events but most people just don't listen. I love doing large events and small events to occupy the users while they are just complaining and getting bored. The process of making the events is most fun because people usually criticize or trash your ideas and give you new ones! What's the problem with that if it just further benefits the making of everything fun on the server.
Although it doesn't necessarily tie in with being an admin specifically, but I've seen where a lot of servers have gone wrong. Hell, I've played at least 4-5 Serious RP servers of various types that have all fallen because of administration. Some people, such as stubborn owners have ideas that just really ruin the server and I have witnessed it first hand. I can probably tell you off the back of my hand what will cause a server to die because people don't have fun. Serious rp servers have problems with scripts or even an overload of scripts and adjusting the way the system work is one of the most valuable things in order to make a server possible. With this knowledge this makes me, not necessarily better, but at least knowledgeable of how things work and how to improve them
What other administrative roles have you performed? (not including owner):
I was once a Head Administrator on a Dark RP Server, I was a mod on a Serious rp server, and I had a weird role like event manager and I kinda made the events literally did nothing else. It was still fun though
Please answer these scenarios to the best of your ability:
Scenario 1: A new player has joined the server, and has not broken any rules as of yet, he however appears to be new to RP, what do you do?:
Personally, I ask him to rp a situation and or tell him to read a guide before he does break any rules still warning the user that he hasn't broke any yet though.
Scenario 2: A player new to RP is caught punchwhoring somebody, what do you do?:
There may not be a jail command on this rp server so I'd tp the player warn him if it's his first time being a nuisance and monitor him for a little bit.
Scenario 3: A player is found to be turtle-ing RP in LOOC (the act of constant bitching in LOOC in order to hold up RP in order to prevent death), how do you remedy this issue?
If I witness stuff like this, it really depends on the arguement, but if it's just retarded stuff like, "OMG YOU WOULDN"T HIM ME OMG YOU FEGET!" or something like that I'd just tell the person my verdict and he'd have to live with it.
Scenario 4: A player comes to you requesting you overview the following logs to authorize the following crafting RP, he has all the OOC parts required to build the object he is asking for:
*Kallan Sanders would grasp onto the sheet of steel, working with it until he forms it into the barrel of a PGM hecate II.
*Kallan Sanders would slide the barrel aside, grabbing another sheet of steel, and some screws, assembling it until it loosely resembles the receiver, setting the barrel inside the receiver, and locking it into place.
*Kallan Sanders would then take the remaining steel and screws, molding and assembling them into it forms a stock, attaching it to the back of the receiver, taking a magazine of .50 rounds, sliding it in, pulling the charging handle back, chambers a new round, slinging his weapon and walking off
Would you authorize this weapon (assuming you had the administrative right to accept or deny items) or not?:
Absolutely not! I'd need to see exact reasoning on how the Character even knew how to make something like that or where he found the supplies to make the object. If the user does give me logical explanation, I will accept this though, may I remind you it will have to be thorough to even close to being accepted.
Scenario 5: An administrator of higher rank is caught abusing, how do you treat the situation?:
Warn the administrator of his error depending on the situation and if it's serious enough apply for a demote and or ban.
Scenario 6: An administrator of lower rank is caught abusing, how do you treat the situation?:
Once again I'd warn the administrator of his error and depending on the situation apply for a demote and or ban since taking away his rank might be a little too far.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS (refusing to accept any of these terms will result in instant denying):
1: In creating this application you accept the right to allow admins to accept or deny your application for any reason deemed legitimate in their eyes, and not yours.:
Please, criticize. Yes.
2: You will be expected to uphold your duty without abusing it, any evidence of major abuse found and accepted will not only result in a permanent blacklist from the administrative team without appeal, but you will be permanently banned WITH the chance to appeal.
Yes.
3: The word of your superior is final unless an equal or higher superior undermines their word.
Yes, as long as we don't have twelve year old super admins.
4: As an administrator you must abide by the rules of professionalism, excessive swearing, flaming, and being a general bad role model can be frowned upon heavily, and can result in your administration being revoked.
Yes.
5: As well as maintaining professionalism, you are disallowed from officially sponsoring our server, however you will be allowed to unofficially promote our server (going onto rival servers just to make a character and spam how good our server is would be an example of official sponsoring, while an unofficial example would be to mention it to a friend or stranger within a non-rival server or a rival server in steam). Failure to abide by this is HEAVILY frowned upon and can result in your administration being revoked. Yes. Who the sponsors
