How many times have you been banned and for how long?:
None.
Why would you like to be an administrator? (2 paragraph minimum)
Honestly, I find being admin on servers pretty fun/interesting. Anything can happen, at any given moment. A minge could come in, trying his best to grab some attention that he does not get in real life, but is immediately banned by the server administrators. A new player could come in, clueless as all Hell, wondering what he needs to do in this game mode, that's where the administrators come in and link him a Serious Role-play guide, and kindly ask him to come back when he thinks he has the hang of things. If that players comes back though, and still doesn't have the hang of how to role-play correctly, I ask them if they've read the guide at all. If not, then I try and help him a bit.
It's also fun to get to know the players that come into the server and enjoy it. Along with the administration team, meeting new people is always a great thing! I also like to serve up a hot plate of justice to rule breakers, I don't like it when someone walks up into the server, and think they can get away with breaking every possible rule. All in all, being an administrator is fun, not because you have power and you are "above all". Because well, people count on you, to keep the rule breakers out. It's a big responsibility, yes. But, I'm willing to take that responsibility, and treat it, the way it's supposed to be.
What skills do you hold that would make you better then other people applying to be administrator? (2 paragraph minimum)
I'm a very patient person, meaning, if a player is being defiant, I could deal with their crap for quite a while, without blowing up all over them. I also tend to get people through tough times, not trying to say I'm some sort of professional therapist, but, I'm quite the therapeutic person, so if someone ever needs help getting through a tough time, I'm their man. I know that sounds quite cliche. But, I can't really put it in any other form to make it not sound cliche. I'm just a helpful guy, what can I say? I'm about the most cliche person you'll ever meet, when it comes to helping people.
I also tend to keep everyone happy! By making events fun, and not limited, as in only a small group of people get to participate in it, while the entire server is frozen in time. I can be quite the mature type when it comes to serious situations, but I do have my happy side! Meaning, I'll be that one guy, trying to cheer you up after your girlfriend left you for a slob. Sadly, if a rule breaker manages to get to me, I will go all out on them, so if I call for another administrator, that means, we're dealing with quite the rule breaker here. If no other administrator comes along, I'll deal with the situation in my own way, I like to point out my flaws.
What other administrative roles have you performed? (not including owner):
I've been administrator on many servers, but I'll name off the more "memorable" ones.
I've been a Admin on a HL2RP server. I've been an Operator on a HL2RP server. I've been a T-Mod on a DarkRP server not too long ago. I could've been a Co-Owner on a DarkRP server, but the server closed down before I could become the Co-Owner. And finally, I used to be a Super Admin on a TTT server.
Please answer these scenarios to the best of your ability:
Scenario 1: A new player has joined the server, and has not broken any rules as of yet, he however appears to be new to RP, what do you do?:
First, I kindly introduce myself, and ask him if he's ever played this type of game mode, if the answer is "no" then I send him a link to a Serious Roleplay guide, and kindly ask him to come back when he thinks he has the hang of things.
Scenario 2: A player new to RP is caught punchwhoring somebody, what do you do?:
I freeze him/her, and ask him/her if he/she knows what they're doing. If they don't, I tell them what they are doing, is wrong, and they may get punished for it next time. I then link them a guide to Serious Role play, and kindly ask them to leave and come back when they think they've got the hang of things.
Scenario 3: A player is found to be turtle-ing RP in LOOC (the act of constant bitching in LOOC in order to hold up RP in order to prevent death), how do you remedy this issue?
First, I ask them to kindly, stop flooding the LOOC chat, and to continue with the RP, if they refuse, I give them a second chance, if they refuse again, I give them a final warning, before I have to disable LOOC chat, if they start to use OOC chat, I ask a admin of higher authority on what to do, once I get my orders, I execute them.
Scenario 4: A player comes to you requesting you overview the following logs to authorize the following crafting RP, he has all the OOC parts required to build the object he is asking for:
*Kallan Sanders would grasp onto the sheet of steel, working with it until he forms it into the barrel of a PGM hecate II.
*Kallan Sanders would slide the barrel aside, grabbing another sheet of steel, and some screws, assembling it until it loosely resembles the receiver, setting the barrel inside the receiver, and locking it into place.
*Kallan Sanders would then take the remaining steel and screws, molding and assembling them into it forms a stock, attaching it to the back of the receiver, taking a magazine of .50 rounds, sliding it in, pulling the charging handle back, chambers a new round, slinging his weapon and walking off
Would you authorize this weapon (assuming you had the administrative right to accept or deny items) or not?:
No. I'd first need an explanation/confirmation on where they got the materials, and the knowledge to make said item. If I get no confirmation/explanation I void the whole thing. If I do get a confirmation/explanation, I will allow it.
Scenario 5: An administrator of higher rank is caught abusing, how do you treat the situation?:
I stay low-key, copy the logs, and post a ban/demote request on the forums.
Scenario 6: An administrator of lower rank is caught abusing, how do you treat the situation?:
Copy the logs, and post a ban/demote request on the forums. Or, just demote them all together on the spot (That's only on SEVERE cases.)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS (refusing to accept any of these terms will result in instant denying):
1: In creating this application you accept the right to allow admins to accept or deny your application for any reason deemed legitimate in their eyes, and not yours.:
2: You will be expected to uphold your duty without abusing it, any evidence of major abuse found and accepted will not only result in a permanent blacklist from the administrative team without appeal, but you will be permanently banned WITH the chance to appeal.
3: The word of your superior is final unless an equal or higher superior undermines their word.
4: As an administrator you must abide by the rules of professionalism, excessive swearing, flaming, and being a general bad role model can be frowned upon heavily, and can result in your administration being revoked.
5: As well as maintaining professionalism, you are disallowed from officially sponsoring our server, however you will be allowed to unofficially promote our server (going onto rival servers just to make a character and spam how good our server is would be an example of official sponsoring, while an unofficial example would be to mention it to a friend or stranger within a non-rival server or a rival server in steam). Failure to abide by this is HEAVILY frowned upon and can result in your administration being revoked.
I accept the terms and conditions, I will follow these terms and conditions, I will not break them, and I promise to not abuse my powers.
